Missed connections pt II
The first date with Miss Missed Connections was Thursday. I could sum up by saying it was a success and date number two is tomorrow. It was very sweet, she even popped her head into my store today to say hi and I was delighted. She's a little younger than I thought (26), but she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Who knows, though, I thought that about someone else recently and they turned out to be bat shit crazy. I guess anything is possible, but I don't get that vibe from her.
On an unrelated note, after an evening of substantial drinking, I found myself making out with some girl in the rain while walking home last night (this morning). The weird thing was, I really didn't even know her. She was a friend of a friend of a friend and I was merely introduced to her at the very end of the evening. We realized that we were walking the same way for a while to go home, so we decided to walk together. We hadn't walked too terribly far yet and I decided that she was cute and I wanted to kiss her. So there we were on the sidewalk making out. I then realized when I awoke this morning that I couldn't really remember what she looked like. Yikes. Luckily Lauren told me she was cute, so it wasn't a disaster after all.

Life in NYC sounds exciting. Glad to hear the first date went well. Never judge someone by their age unless they start acting like their age then run for the hills. Most 26 year olds still have alot of living to do. Keep in mind though that this is coming from a 27-year old.
