Day two complete

I never thought I would see the day, but I've decided that I'm going to give up drinking. It seems that all the bad things that happen of late are always a pretty direct result of late night heavy alcohol consumption. Instead of trying the moderation route, I'm going straight to the none at all route. I know it won't be easy, but right now I feel pretty comitted to it. It's now been 48+ hours. Last drink was around 8pm, Monday May 25th, 2008.

How long will this last? I'm not sure yet. I don't expect it to be permanent, that would be ridiculous, but hopefully I'll know when the time is right. Could be a couple weeks, could be a couple months, could be a couple years. And if I keep doing stupid things to make bad shit happen while completely sober all the time, well then by all means, I might as well be drunk while doing those things. We shall see...
