Last night I saw this band called Sluts of Trust. I know, their name sounds lame, but they're ok. I really enjoyed the CD, so I thought I'd check them out. It was only two guys and, while they were good, they didn't quite pack the punch I was hoping for. Think of QOTSA meets Danzig meets No Means No from Scotland. That might be a good description. Then went for drinks aftewards with a few people. Met a girl. She was nice. Only 22, though. a bit young for me, but damn she was cute.

Last Friday I met Kelli's friend Peggy. We hung out, ate ice cream had a couple drinks. She was really nice and I hope that we become friends. I've asked her to join me at the Mermaid Parade on Saturday. Should be fun. After that on Friday I went and saw Rob and Anthony's band, Cut The Wires. I drank a bit much and got sick. Stupid me.

Thursday I went to coral room to see Controller Controller. They were ok but sounded a little too much like the Rapture for my taste. Almost identical bass lines, but with a female singer. The Coral Room is cool because they have a huge tank behind the bar with fish in it... and mermaids. Rad.

So, that's it. a brief peak into my life. I'm going to try and keep up writing a little better. Wish me luck!
