that time of the month
It seems I'm on the once a month plan for entries these days. I feel bad for all you folks tuning in on a regular basis. Poor Rob hasn't been very entertaining has he? Listmaker recently asked me if I found a girlfriend because it seemed my late night, drunken rantings about girls had decreased. Sorry, Mr. Maker, I haven't. But you already knew that, because that's what I told you when you asked. But yeah, maybe now is the time to start trying to remedy that. The thought of being young and picking up hot girls at bars isn't so appealing anymore. I blame the string of bad luck that was encountered recently (see: post about girls with boyfriends).
So tonight I met up with someone who I had met through one of those fancy, popular dating web sites. Now, I'm a fan of the sites, looking at people of all shapes and sizes and colors and whatnot is very entertaining for me, I'm a people watcher and this is sort of people watching for the new millennium. I've met a fewer than a handful of girls, none I was too excited beforehand and certainly none I was excited about after. Until tonight. I met someone who was cute, nice, funny and with whom I have a lot in common. I was a little excited beforehand, had a great time and for once, am still excited after. So, who knows.
(Edit: I have been informed about one girl I was excited about beforehand, I forgot. But I wasn't excited about her after, so I was close.)
And this isn't a late night drunken post about girls, quite the contrary. Sure, it's late, and I've talked about girls, but I'm not drunk. In fact, I was about to go to sleep when I found out my dear, dear friend The Artist Formerly Known As BFF was still up feeling sick. I decided to hop online again and see if she was at her computer. And she was, so now we're discussing home remedies for sore throats. But she has no whiskey and no lemon juice. We're kinda screwed. But it's sad she's sick, she hasn't been feeling well, and a sick Artist Formerly Known As BFF isn't the most fun Artist Formerly Known As BFF. Get well soon Artist Formerly Known As BFF.
(Edit #2: To clarify regarding Artist Formerly Known As BFF, I am concerned for her well being because I want her to return to her usual state of 100% awesomeness, because she is indeed awesome.)
