Online gambling

I first started playing poker online about a year and a half ago, but never for real money. Then one day a good friend of mine gave me a gift certificate to the website, so I tried playing for real. I, of course, immediately lost it all, deposited $20 of my own and lost that, too. I decided that online poker was not for me. I hadn't played at all online for a while until recently when I started again. I was doing really well with fake money, so I thought I'd give the real thing a go again. Unfortunately, I wasn't doing too well. Then the other day I decided to try my hand at online blackjack. I started playing, sat at a table with $10 and before I knew it, I was up $60. Me, being the greedy bastard I am, went and gambled away all that, too. However, I realized that if I could just have an ounce of self-discipline, I might be able to actually win. So get this...

Last night, I met up with some good friends for some bocce action. It was nice to see the Terrors run the table for about 6 hours. But that's not the point. Around 3:30am I decided to play a little blackjack. I tried as hard as I could to play within my means, and I was doing quite well. And then better, and then even better. Before long I was up over $300. I was estatic. So, I decided to be smart and withdraw $325 from my online account, leaving $96. It was 8am, and I should have gone to bed. But no, I was on a roll. So I kept playing. Now here it is only 8:40am and I'm already done playing. You ask why? Well, it's simple. I kept winning and winning and winning and winning. So I cancelled that $325 withdraw and changed it to, get this... $650!!! Still leaving $96 again. That's right, you heard correctly. Because I chose not to sleep tonight, I won over $700. Yes, over $700. FUCKING AMAZING. Woo hoooooooooo!
