Last night I had a swell time. I went to see Clem Snide play in Prospect Park. AFter them, Pere Ubu provided a live score to the film, "The Man With The X-Ray Eyes". It was fun chilling on the park on a warm summer night, enjoying good tunes and interesting movies. It's moments like that when I'm so incredibly happy to be here. I've decided that I need to try and take advantage of more that this city has to offer. I mean, I go out a lot, but it's mostly to see bands. Which is fine, there's always someone good playing it seems, but there's so much more out there and I need to get on the ball.
I met a girl last night, Alison. She was really nice and fun to hang out with. She is a friend of Chris' girlfriend, Yu. I thought we were all going to hang out after the park thing, but everyone decided to call it a night. Alison bailed out of the car before I could ask for her nmber or anything. Yu said she would pass it along to her, so hopefully I'll hear from her sometime soon. That would rule.
It's pouring down rain here today, but I'm in a delightful mood for some crazy reason.
